| " sexwork to me is very much about artifice. it´s an act, a character, a facade, a mask I take on and sell in hourly increments to those who have the need, money and social position to tailor-order their desires. my work clothes are kind of a kinky uniform which I put on, soil, strip and wash afterwards - like any other worker in the new economy." a both visually and politically challenging portrait of an independent sex worker. a cliché-breaking declaration of sex work as a creative outlet and a chance for individual autonomy. the protagonist offers her personal view on a profession that is still stigmatized by society norms and allows an insight in a realm that is mostly hidden from the public view. |
